The latest episode of Cool Cars, Interesting People is with Kathy Matkin-Clapton. I may have said once or twice over the course of the 25 plus years that I’ve known her that she is indeed one of my favorite people. Her passion for music, her love of life and her calm demeanor makes it easy to be around her. I’ve performed on stage with her, she was the vocal director in a couple of shows and my daughters were in her children’s choir a number of years ago. The passion she had then (15 years ago) has not waned. It’s appropriate that we got her a classy vehicle with the Cadillac SRX from Murray Chev Cadillac. Thanks to Dave Scullen for telling us about all the wonderful features. We talked about Kathy’s first cars, her early education, her love of Downton Abbey, naturally the choirs that she continues to lead and her other life working for the web company Third Stream which is doing phenomenally well nationally. For coffee we went to The Chef’s Hat on The Crowsnest Trail. We didn’t even have a chef’s hat and they let us in. Here now is Cool Cars, Interesting People with Kathy Matkin-Clapton.
